Reuse and recycle

My blogging friend Christina is an inspiring mum (of twin daughters and triplet sons all under 5!), an amazing photographer and thanks to her clever dad the very lucky owner of this vintage mirror turned chalkboard. I love the contrast of the white frame and the blackboard. I love her little display of family photos too! She has posted more beautiful images on her blog here.

What a great shape frame. I am always on the lookout of old mirrors or picture frames that I can make into chalkboards. This is particularly stunning.
As a fellow mother of 5 I feel a little envious that Christina managed to have her brood in just 2 pregnancies which were never my strong point! I bet she has a very noisy, but happy household.

Hi Amanda, I only just came across your blog via Nisha's Etsy store - and I love it! So great to see such a fantastic design blog from a Queensland girl! That chalkboard is such a great idea, they are usually such eye sores :)
